It can be a very stressful time for our students, but with the right amount of revision they will get … through it. It was a real fun day out for a lot of families, t … here was a raffle, tombola, an auction, face painting, cake stalls and much more. Group meets every Thursday lunchtime. We also enter a select team into the regional Mathematics Challenge Team Finals in which we compete against other schools from across the county. Last week some of our Year 7 students got creative in DT lessons. Hopefully a little something to boost morale.

This is an amazing preparation for the non examination assessment in Food Preparation and Nutrition as well. In the past, we have successfully entered students onto maths degree courses at Oxford, Cambridge, Warwick and Imperial Universities as well as many others.
On top of that the library is open every day after school where students can go for supervised revision. We are also shadowing the Kate Greenaway award for illustrated books and hope to visit schhool schools to share these wonderful stories.

At Key Stage 3 and 4 we teach a progressive five year curriculum, with each year building on the learning that took place during the previous years. Outside of the class room pupils are supported by Mymaths, an online piece of mathematical software that can be used to not only set tasks but also for pupils to consolidate their understanding by going through lessons.
